End Times
Don’t listen to people telling you that you need not know the end. That’s a misunderstanding and distortion of Scripture. The Lord knows the day – For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD (Zech 14:7). His people are to know the day also – But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief (1Thess 5:4).
What’s more, the Book of Revelation is meant for the Lord’s bond-servants – you’re supposed to know, and care about, what is to come.
ON HIGH ALERT: The Lord said the generation of the “fig tree” would not pass away before certain end-time events are completed (Mt 24). Israel, the fig tree, was reborn in 1948. Reborn Israel will be one-generation-old starting in 2018 through 2028. For this reason and others, we are on high alert during this decade.
When God’s wrath of the end does come, what will take place? Do you know?
Seals
God’s coming judgments are seals, trumpets, and bowls. The seals come first. With the seals, up to a fourth of the world’s population may die.
The first four seals in Revelation are the four horses: white, red, black, and pale. These are four spirits (Zech 6) that involve God, war, famine and pestilence, and the evil one and his “wild beasts.” Because these four horses have been roaming the earth for millennia, their timing in Revelation is obscure. The fifth seal is also obscure.
What’s less obscure is the sixth seal. The sixth seal appears to be a nuclear conflict such as the world has never seen – nuclear war on a grand scale, among powerful nations. The sixth seal will also likely coincide with the Battle of Hamon-gog. These events won’t go unnoticed. The one true God, the God of Israel, will be making His name known to all the nations. His name is the Word of God, which He is watching over to perform. His Word will happen.
Since you haven’t seen the sixth seal yet, you cannot see trumpets or bowls, which come after the seals. The Battle of Hamon-gog and the sixth seal, as bad as they are, the Battle of Armegeddon is still to come.
Trumpets and Bowls
After the seals come God’s trumpet and bowl judgments, which are even more severe. The trumpets/bowls will bring major destruction like the plagues God sent upon ancient Egypt. Even before the seventh trumpet comes, at least another one third of the world’s population will die from the previous six trumpets.
The trumpets and bowls will happen concurrently – a trumpet will be blown, announcing what’s coming, then a bowl will be poured out on the antichrist’s kingdom. The antichrist’s kingdom will be similar in location to all the past world empires that have come against Israel – such as Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Rome.
The Book of Revelation is in your face. You can’t simply spiritualize it or say it’s allegory. It’s going to happen – earthly – possibly quite soon, and in the order God gives.
What must people do?
God’s fury and wrath are coming. Also coming is His final judgment of souls that will result in eternal torment and unquenchable fire for most of His creation. You should be wondering, “What must I do?” Obviously, what matters most is what you do regarding God Even with His wrath poured out with seals, trumpets, and bowls, Revelation says people still won’t go to God with the correct attitude.
Because God gave you breath of life, you are foreknown to Him. Because He has an eternal kingdom planned, you have a chance at an inheritance, a birthright. Don’t be like Esau, who sold his birthright for a bowl of stew (this world, this life).
Seek God, your Maker and Creator, in truth. In the limited time you have, do all you can to find Him in His Word. Get alone with Him in the Bible. Learn from Him who He is, how He thinks, and how He judges. Before going to the New Testament (the Son), first you must listen to the Father’s voice in Moses and the Prophets, believing everything you read. Learn good and evil from God, for God alone is good. Change your attitude: believe God and His Word, no longer men and their words. Find out the truth from God. Receive the love of His truth.
