From the very beginning

From the very beginning, the creature has come between God and His creation… either the creature himself (the evil one) or by using men and men’s teachings, sermons, books about God, etc.

God is literal, specific, and direct regarding going only to the One and only Mediator, Jesus, the Word, for all teaching.

The Word consistently and continuously warns of the battle between God and the enemy – and warns of false teachers/false prophets who are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

• God in the garden – God’s very first command and warning to man was to not listen to the creature or to “eat” lies about God.
  
  
• Jesus in flesh – He said to come to Him alone, and warned over and over about listening to men.
  
  
• Spirit through the Word – The Lord says a person must overcome the churches (Rev 2-3).

Israel did evil in God’s sight by asking for a man as king, because God was already their King. The early church did the same by being “of Paul,” “of Cephas,” and “of Apollos” rather than of Jesus alone. The organized church of today is even worse. They lift up and call men Rabbi, Teacher, Leader, Minister, Reverend, Head Pastor, and Father even though such is true of the Son and the heavenly Father alone.

People today are falling for the same lie from the evil one, regarding believing man versus going to God directly and believing Him alone. Choose either God or man – it’s one or the other – not both. “Few” choose rightly.

If you don’t change your attitude about man, you will never change your attitude about God. It’s God alone, if you want a chance at life.
