The Battle of Hamon-Gog is the biblical world war that precedes Armageddon by at least seven years. What could you see? Be alert!

• Russia and Iran invading Israel
• the sun black
• the moon blood red
• mountains and islands moved out of their places
• men hiding in caves and rocks (bunkers)
• the sky split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up
• nuclear fire upon the nation from the uttermost north (probably Russia) and “the coastlands” (including the U.S.)

Nations will be obliterated. But God has His own plans for Israel.

God’s symmetry

In the Law, God said Israel would be struck eight times. They were struck by: 1) Egypt, 2) Assyria, 3) Babylon, 4) Medo-Persia, 5) Greece, and then 6) Rome. Rome destroyed the temple and burned Jerusalem, and Israel ceased as a nation. The progression seemed to stop at six.

But then, on May 14, 1948, God resurrected Israel, fulfilling His Word through Isaiah — “Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?” (Isa 66:8). And, rather than continue where it left off, He restarted the progression from the beginning…

Since 1948, reborn Israel has been hit by the same powers, in the same order. Egypt and Assyria (today called Syria) hit Israel from 1948 to 1973. And do you remember the Scud missiles from Babylon (today called Iraq) in the late 1980s to the early 1990s? Next comes Medo-Persia. The Medo-Persia of today is Russia-Iran, which will attack Israel at the Battle of Hamon-Gog.

If you are alive after Hamon-Gog, will you go to church and be a Laodicean and listen to men, or believe the Word of God and listen to God only?
