The Mind of Christ

The Father must send you to the Son!

God sent His Son, the Word, into the world (the Word became flesh). God also must send you to His Word, The Son. You cannot get to The Son unless The Father grants you access!

The Father’s Word through Moses and the Prophets is the required tutor leading to Christ, and is the necessary “milk” for “babes” (any person of any age who is starting with God). First, you must hear, learn from, and believe the Word of The Father. Once The Father judges you ready, then He may grant you access to learn from His Son and start receiving “solid food.” But why would God give you access to His Son until you’ve treated Him, The Father, correctly?

“No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (Jn 6:44)

“no one can come to Me, unless it has been granted him from the Father.” (Jn 6:65)

“But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’” (Lk 16:31)

“Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.” (Jn 6:45)

The true Son is revealed by The Father!

If you skip past The Father, you don’t know The Son! Just as The Son explains The Father in the New Testament, The Father uses Moses and the Prophets to reveal The Son. But, because the church bypasses The Father and His mandatory teaching, they preach “another Jesus,” not the true Son sent by The Father.

The true Son destroyed the entire population of the world by flood (except for 8). He is the One who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by fire (except for 4). He is the One who destroyed Israel in the wilderness (except for 3), and executed many more terrifying judgments written of in the Old Testament. The true Jesus is the Lord God of Israel and is to be feared.

Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. (Ps 2:12)

and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?” (Rev 6:16-17)

And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. (Rev 19:15)

The Law is not abolished. It is expanded!

Jesus, the Lord God of Israel, is the One who gave the Law to Moses. When He came in the flesh, He didn’t come to abolish the Law.

Instead, the Lord expanded the understanding of the Law, revealing that it judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. With “the Spirit of the Law,” God’s laws become more demanding than with “the letter of the Law.” Therefore, the Son’s teaching should bring about a deeper level of repentance and conviction!

Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.” (Mt 5:17-18)

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Mt 5:27-28)

“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ … But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother…shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.” (Mt 5:21-22)

The Law of God has become the mind of Christ!

The Law was written so that you can hear The Father’s voice to find out how He thinks, creates, destroys, judges, and separates (clean vs. unclean), etc. It’s about Him, not you. Who He is. How He thinks. What He’s doing.

Then, if The Father grants you access to The Son, you will learn that you’re “under the Law of Christ.” This means that you are subject to the Lord’s teaching of all Scripture, which includes His mind on the laws of Moses. The “letter of the Law” is how you see the Law. The “Spirit of the Law” is how the Lord sees it and teaches it, the Law by the mind of Christ.

…not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ (1Cor 9:21)

For who has known the mind of the LORD, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. (1Cor 2:16)

And He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.” (Mt 13:52)

The Son introduces the mysteries of God!

The Father’s “washing” by Moses and the Prophets is mainly about attitude. Your attitude must change! The way you treat God must change! Believe God only! Fear God! Stop trusting in men!

Then, if the Father grants you access to the Son, the Son’s teaching introduces the mysteries of God in both Testaments (“solid food” vs. “milk”). However, you cannot learn God’s hidden wisdom from The Son until you’ve first gone through the attitude change (true repentance) required by The Father.

“There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries” (Dan 2:28)

“It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things.” (Dan 2:22)

And He answered and said to them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.” (Mt 13:11)

Mysteries? God’s Book is sealed!

The Word of God is His most valuable treasure. He does not reveal to just anyone. He has intentionally “sealed” His Book, and only He can open it. He must unlock the Bible and teach you how to read it. If He doesn’t, you have no understanding, even if you read the Bible all day long, every day, for a thousand years!

God authored His Word in such a way that you need His teaching to understand it. Put His thoughts first. God put every story, parable, and mystery in His Word for a purpose of His own. You must “wrestle” with Him until He reveals that purpose and meaning. Without His thoughts, His interpretation, His mind, you have nothing!

And the entire vision shall be to you like the words of a sealed book, which when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, “Please read this,” he will say, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” (Isa 29:11)

Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, “Please read this.” And he will say, “I cannot read.” (Isa 29:12)

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. (Lk 24:45)

Mysteries? Jesus’s parables!

Jesus spoke to the multitudes only in parables. Why? To hide the truth and mysteries of God from the masses! He designed it so His true disciples would come to Him in private to seek the hidden meaning of His words. He then revealed His explanation to them, but not to the multitudes.

Isn’t it possible that God has styled His entire Book in this way? God has made the Bible available to the multitudes – all nations. However, He doesn’t reveal the meaning to everyone. As with the parables, you must go to Him for His explanation. You need His mind on everything in Scripture!

All these things Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, “I WILL OPEN MY MOUTH IN PARABLES; I WILL UTTER THINGS HIDDEN SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.” (Mt 13:34-35)

“those who are outside get everything in parables, in order that while seeing, they may not perceive; and while hearing, they may not understand” (Mk 4:11,12)

And He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything privately to His own disciples. (Mk 4:34)

“To whom would He teach knowledge? And to whom would He interpret the message?” (Isa 28:9)

And He answered and said to them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.” (Mt 13:11)

The New Covenant = He’s the Teacher!

After His resurrection, Jesus opened His disciples’ minds to understand the Scriptures. That is the essence of His New Covenant. The Holy Spirit of God opens minds to understand the Word of God. Jesus taught when He was on earth in flesh, and He teaches today by His Spirit from heaven. The old covenant was the letter of the Law. The New Covenant is the Spirit of the Law, which is the Law and all of Scripture as taught by the mind of Christ.

But, who goes to church? Those NOT taught by God! Those WITHOUT the mind of Christ! Church people have chosen their own teachers according to their own desires They don’t want or need God’s One Shepherd, Teacher, and Judge. As a consequence, at final judgment He will declare He doesn’t know them.

If the Lord has not opened your mind to understand the Scriptures by His teaching, you do not know Him and He does not know you!

“But this is the covenant which I will make…” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it … And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know Me….” (Jer 31:33-34)

“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you’” (Mt 7:22,23)

“Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’” (Lk 13:25)

“Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from’” (Lk 13:26)

“‘Lord, Lord, open up for us.’ But he answered and said, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’” (Mt 25:11,12)

…they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths. (2Tim 4:3-4)

And these will go away into eternal punishment” (Mt 25:46)
