The Right Things to Do Right Now

GO TO THE WORD.

Are you looking for a sign from God? God has given a hugely important sign recently, but most people have ignored it: the printing and worldwide distribution of the Bible. God’s Word was held captive and hidden away by the Catholic church for over a thousand years. Then, in the 1500s, the Old and New Testaments were published together in the common language of the peoples. For the first time, everyone could read the Scriptures for themselves. Since then, God’s written Word has been distributed to the world by the billions and billions of copies.

Why this matters:

In all the world, only one God has authored a Book. That Book is the Bible. Although men wrote, assembled, printed, and distributed God’s written Word, He is the Author of the Book. What is the gospel? The gospel is 66 books of the Bible, all 66 books of God’s truth. Today, you are living in the time of the printed Word of God, and will be held accountable as such. The Word of God is near!

It’s time to put down your phone and pick up God’s Book and read. The only way to find and know God is if He opens and teaches His one Book to you. If you don’t know the Word of God as taught by God, you don’t know God.

DON’T GO TO CHURCH. OVERCOME THE CHURCH.

John and Jesus came preaching “the kingdom of God.” And everyone wants a piece of it. They want the riches and the power, but they don’t want to enter by God’s way. The Lord said, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is near.” To repent is to change your attitude about God and man. Submit yourself to God and His Word only, and turn away from men’s ways and men’s teachings.

Instead of repenting according to God, people are violently forcing their way into the kingdom. They have decided they are saved, loved, and going to heaven. They believe the false, easy gospel of the church: just say this prayer…walk the aisle…be a good a person…go to church…etc. This is violence against the Word of God, but they refuse to repent.

Why this matters:

The entire New Testament is telling you to avoid religious leaders and churches. In the Book of Revelation — possibly the most important book of the Bible — the Lord gives the letters to the churches (Rev 2-3). Five of the seven churches are told to repent, and the other two are called “the synagogue of Satan.” And, in all seven letters, the Spirit is saying that people must overcome the churches. Who hasn’t repented and is forcing their way into God’s kingdom? The churches. You need to take the Lord’s warnings seriously.

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since then the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.” (Luke 16:16)

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.” (Matt 11:12)

GO TO THE WORD NOW. YOU DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME.

Another major sign you’ve probably missed is the rebirth of Israel. God uses the nation of Israel as a marker in His overall plan and timeline. To fulfill His Word, He scattered Israel among the nations because of their disobedience toward Him. But He also promised to one day regather them to the land He promised their forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. To fulfill His Word, Israel was reborn as a nation on May 14, 1948. Since then, to fulfill His Word, He has been bringing the children of Israel back to Israel from all the nations to which He banished them.

Why this matters:

Israel being reborn in 1948 means that time is limited. Why? God’s Word refers to Israel as the “fig tree,” and the generation of reborn Israel is very likely the one that Jesus spoke of, which will not pass away before His end times events are fulfilled. A Scriptural generation is 70 to 80 years. So reborn Israel is already over 74 years old. What major, biblical event will they encounter next? Israel will be invaded by a country to “the uttermost north.” This invasion — the Sixth Seal / Battle of Hamon-gog — may immediately follow the Russian-Ukrainian war. Go to the Word now! Your time is almost up!

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.” (Jer 1:12)

“Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?” (Isa 66:8)

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” (Matt 24:32-34)
